Former Kentucky Wildcats swimmer Riley Gaines has never been shy to voice her opinion on whatever topic comes to her mind. And she took the opportunity to blast U.S. President Joe Biden on Wednesday night.
Gaines has notably been extremely open about her stance on transgender athletes competing in women’s sports. She has been a big advocate against their inclusion in women’s competitions.
She has gone as far as publicly bashing transgender athletes on social media, notably speaking out against NCAA Swimming Champion Lia Thomas last month.
She's my role model! The word fearless gets tossed around a lot, but Kellie-Jay Keen is the embodiment of it.
She was at the NCAA championships and was the first I had seen to unapologetically and loudly call Thomas what he is…a man. She showed me it's not hard to say that. https://t.co/XpwYMEIp4U pic.twitter.com/A9EL0tayjt

This time, Gaines decided to take aim at Joe Biden, replying to an anti-Biden Twitter user who posted a video of Biden speaking.
“Isn’t it crazy to think this is the 1 person out of all 300,000,000+ people living in the US we elected to lead and represent this country,” tweeted Gaines. This would almost be funny if it wasn’t reality & had real consequences.”

Gaines then doubled down on her criticism of Biden, letting it be known that she was not one of the many who voted for Biden to be president.
“Please understand when I say “we”. I certainly don’t mean this is who I voted for. One quick look at history and our current state could have been predicted and I saw that in 2020.”

It’s unclear exactly what in particular her issue with Biden is. Regardless, it couldn’t be more clear that Gaines isn’t Biden’s biggest fan…
