Bad College baseball fan West Virginia versus Minnesota.

It is nearly every kid’s dream to get a foul ball while watching a live baseball game. However, one child missed out on this opportunity after a foul ball he was chasing was taken by a horrible fan.

The foul ball in question was hit during the bottom of the eighth inning of Saturday’s matchup between the West Virginia Mountaineers and the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

Mountaineers third baseman Braden Barry fouled off the third pitch of the at-bat into the stands. A child ran after the ball but an older fan reached it first, snagging it from the kid before he could reach it.

Most people would have had the general courtesy of giving the ball to a younger fan even if they do get to it first. That was not the case in this situation, as he simply walked away from the disappointed kid.

Many took notice of this video shared on social media and absolutely blasted the incredibly greedy fan for this extremely selfish act.

Hopefully the youngster will have a chance to go to future West Virginia baseball games and get his hands on another baseball at some point.

Regardless, this horrible fan who stole the ball should absolutely be ashamed of himself for potentially ruining the kid’s day by taking a foul ball right in front of him.
