Jim Harbaugh vs. Nick Saban or Harbaugh vs. the SEC? Which has been the more fun offseason fight within college football in 2016?

The most recent one is Harbaugh vs. Saban, as the Alabama coach spoke about the “worries” he had over satellite camps and Harbaugh took to Twitter to respond (nevermind that Saban isn’t on the Twitter machine).

One week later and the feud simply won’t die, and it all has to do with the extensive satellite camp tour Michigan is on and the players coming to their coach’s defense. Monday saw Michigan’s star defensive back Jourdan Lewis go all Allen Iverson meme on Saban (only to delete it later). Now it’s on to Wolverines’ quarterback John O’Korn, who took to his Instagram to post the exact same meme of Allen Iverson stepping over (current Cleveland Cavaliers’ coach) Tyronn Lue in the 2001 NBA Finals.

So far, this has been a wholly one-sided war of words and war of social media, and one Michigan’s winning. Just don’t expect that to bother a man who isn’t even on social media and hasn’t taken Harbaugh’s bait when asked about the Tweet and other comments.

Will Saban’s players follow suit and take this war of memes up a notch or two, or can Michigan declare “Hail to the victors valiant”? Stay tuned, because it seems likely this is far from over.
