The bad news for the San Francisco 49ers is that they were unable to secure a victory in Super Bowl LVIII despite holding a fourth-quarter lead against the Kansas City Chiefs. But the good news is, they open as the favorites to win the Super Bowl next season.
Immediately following the conclusion of Sunday afternoon’s thrilling Super Bowl that saw the Chiefs defeat the Niners in overtime, Draft Kings released their odds for next year’s Super Bowl champion. And some familiar teams top the list.
“Next years Super Bowl odds anyone?” DraftKings Sportsbook said after the game in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

The San Francisco 49ers sit at the top of the list to win next year’s game with +550 odds, and they’ve followed closely behind by the team that just defeated them in Super Bowl LVIII with the Chiefs coming in at +650. The Baltimore Ravens have the third-best odds at +900 with the Buffalo Bills following just behind at +950. The Detroit Lions and the Cincinnati Bengals round out the top five with the two teams tied for the fifth-best odds at +1200.
This season may be over, but it’s never too early to start thinking about next year.
