New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been sidelined since his Achilles injury in Week 1. But that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been paying attention to other quarterbacks around the league. And one quarterback in particular has caught Rodgers’ attention with his impressive play.

Prescott has been on a tear recently for the Cowboys, which has put him squarely into the MVP conversation. He has thrown for at least 300 yards and three touchdowns in four of the last five games.

Playing quarterback for the Cowboys is perhaps the hardest job in all of football. When things are going poorly, Prescott receives the lion’s share of the blame.

But when things are going well, fans and players alike take notice. And Rodgers spoke about how impressed he has been with Prescott during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.

“He’s become one of my favorite quarterbacks to watch,” said Rodgers of Prescott. “I’ve watched him more this year than any other year. I just love that he is really playing the position. And he’s using his cadence beautifully. He’s playing the position in a really impressive way. For some reason, he gets a little more **** than he deserves. But I love the way that he is playing.”

Rodgers and Prescott have had their fair share of battles while Rodgers was in the NFC with the Green Bay Packers. But it certainly seems like Prescott is in the midst of the best stretch of play of his career.

And this kind of endorsement from someone like Rodgers is certainly a testament to the improvement that Prescott has shown this season.
