Green Bay Packers fans were obviously hoping that when Jordan Love replaced future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers this season, he would pick up right where Rodgers left off. And so far, that actually does seem to be the case.
As Green Bay Packers reporter Zach Jacobson of Heavy.com pointed out on social media, Aaron Rodgers and Jordan Love have essentially identical statistics through the first 11 games of their NFL careers.
“Aaron Rodgers had 2,599 passing yards and 21 total touchdowns through his first 11 games as the starter. Jordan Love has 2,599 passing yards and 21 total touchdowns through his first 11 games as the starter,” Jacobson said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

It’s pretty insane that the two quarterbacks have essentially the exact same numbers through the first 11 games of their first seasons as starters, and the NFL world had a lot to sy about it on social media as a result.

Obviously, the Packers will be hoping that Loves’ career follows the same Hall of Fame trajectory as Rodgers’ for the next several years after this, but it’s still certainly safe to say that he is off to a great start.
