Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett is heading into just his second season as the team’s starting quarterback and it will be his first full season in the role after he earned the job midway through last season. But even though he’s still young, it sounds like he has already emerged as a leader.

During a recent appearance on SiriusXM NFL Radio this week, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Allen Robinson had some bold praise for Kenny Pickett, praising his ability to “command” the team with his leadership.

“Coming in seeing Kenny now going into his second season, the command that he has for a second-year player is awesome,” Robinson said according to Pro Football Talk. “I personally feel like you don’t get a chance to see guys that young with a command that strong as far as leading us, getting guys together, throwing after watching film. Across the board, he’s very experienced. It’s been fun to see and it’s been fun to be a part of.”

Pickett certainly established himself last season. It will be interesting to see what sort of strides he makes as he heads into his second season as the team’s starting quarterback this fall.
