Wide receiver Antonio Brown’s playing days in the NFL are almost certainly over, but he’s still looking back fondly on the success he had before his career went off the rails.

Brown has been pretty critical of many of his past teammates in recent interviews, including Tom Brady. One of the people he has criticized, former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, is now getting some praise from the wideout.

During a Wingman of the Year interview, via Matthew Luciow, Brown said that the former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback was his most underrated teammate in his NFL career.

Of course, it’s hard for many people to consider Big Ben “underrated” given that he’s a two-time Super Bowl champion and almost certainly heading to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. But Brown is prone to strange proclamations so it’s perhaps not that surprising that he would couch his praise that way.

Brown once called Roethlisberger a “loser” but recanted that opinion later on an Instagram post.

“I never realized how good I had it, got caught up in my emotion with everyone coming after me,” Brown wrote. “I really apologize for my actions sincerely man! It’s never been another connection like what we done in the past decade. I appreciate you.”

It seems like Brown is still trying to repair that relationship.
