Although it’s been years since Antonio Brown and Tom Brady played with one another on the field for the Tampa Bay Buccanneers, Brown continues to drag and blame Brady for his exit from the NFL.

Since Brown’s exit from the NFL, he continues to blame Tom Brady for his problems, the latest being the infamous shirtless incident in which Brown left the field shirtless and quit during a Bucs game.

The Bucs would release Brown later and from that point on, Brown has laid the blame on mostly Brady for his release and troubles on and off the field.

Brown brought up Brady’s name again on Tyreek Hill’s podcast and explained what lead up to the infamous incident.

“We about to play the Jets, and this week I am really hurt,” he said. “So I’m taking pictures to the coach like ‘If we’re going to win the Super Bowl, I’m going to need to take these last two weeks [of the regular season] at least recover up so I can give you my best; we here to win the Super Bowl,’ so the coach, [Bruce Arians], was like ‘Hey man, we ain’t resting.’”

Despite his injured ankle, Brown said it was Brady who talked him into playing.

“Tom called me like ‘Yo, this week man, the Jets man, they sweet man imma hit you with like 10 to 12 [targets],’” Brown said. “So, he gonna gas me up so you know me, that’s all I need to hear, like yo, you gonna throw me the ball.”

He then follows up later in the interview by saying that “They treated me like I was a dog,”

Although Brown says he has no ill will towards Brady, the bitterness Brown has toward Brady lingers to this day.
