The Atlanta Falcons have signed former Las Vegas Raiders linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski.
Kwiatkoski was a fourth-round draft selection of the Chicago Bears back in the 2016 NFL Draft and played four years with the team. The 28-year-old played in 20 games over the last two seasons with the Raiders.

Ryan Pace, who was the GM with the Bears, now has that same position with the Falcons. Kwiatkoski signed a three-year deal with the Raiders worth $21 million but he only lasted a few years there and was often injured during that tenure. He missed 9 games in 2020 and 12 games in 2021.

According to the NFL Network, the Falcons signed Kwiatkoski to a one-year deal.
The Falcons’ defense struggled last year, especially up front, so this new addition can’t do anything but help this team. Atlanta gets a linebacker with experience at bargain-basement prices without having to give up anything.
If Kwiatkoski can just stay healthy, this could end up being a steal for the Falcons. Atlanta had one of the worst defensive lines in the league last year, which showed a lot in their losses. They needed someone to put more pressure on the quarterback and they could use as much help as they could get especially in a rebuilding year.
What a defensive play by Nick Kwiatkoski midway through the 1st! 💪pic.twitter.com/SOHaeBZfvN
