The Baltimore Ravens are dealing with a number of injuries heading into Week 4 on both sides of the ball. This prompted them to bring in an experienced veteran who knows exactly what it is like to play at the highest level.
Free agent linebacker Kyle Van Noy has played in his fair share of big games, notably winning a big role in two Super Bowl championships with the New England Patriots.
He last played with the Los Angeles Chargers in 2022, where he started in 13 games for the organization last year.
Van Noy surprisingly did not sign with a team to begin the 2023 season, but it looks like he has now found a home in Baltimore. According to Josina Anderson of CBS Sports, the Ravens have signed Van Noy to their practice squad on Tuesday.

The Ravens are dealing with a number of injuries to edge rushers including David Ojabo and Odafe Oweh, so this addition should help revive their pass rush while these two recover from their ailments.
It is worth noting that Van Noy will be entering his 10th NFL season, so he may not quite be the player he once was. However, given his lengthy track record in the league and the Ravens’ injuries, Van Noy should have no trouble getting off the practice squad and making an impact on the Ravens’ active roster at some point this year.
