Justin Fields’ tough season got even tougher Sunday.
The Chicago Bears quarterback, who has been ripped by fans for his poor play this year, had another bad game in Week 3 against the Kansas City Chiefs. And the game featured a bizarre turn of events, after Fields took a blow to the head on a running play early in the fourth quarter.
The third-year quarterback got to his feet unsteadily and headed back to the huddle, before wide receiver D.J. Moore grabbed his teammate and walked him toward the sideline.
Justin Fields just left the Bears at Chiefs game with a head injury and is being evaluated for a concussion after taking an elbow to the head on a QB run play.
Justin Fields is then removed from the huddle after wobbling. Hope he is okay.

Fields went to the injury tent for a concussion evaluation, and given the NFL’s emphasis on diagnosing possible head injuries in the wake of the Tua Tagovailoa debacle last season, it appeared he was done for the day.
Yet he returned to the game a few minutes later, with the Bears losing in a blowout to the Chiefs.
Many NFL fans saluted Moore for quickly realizing Fields was not right, while others ripped the Bears for putting the young QB back out on the field.
This is great stuff: DJ Moore can tell something is wrong with Justin Fields, so he forces him to go to the team’s sideline.
Awesome teammate. Health comes first.

If Justin Fields does have a concussion, I’m sure he’ll be watched closely for exacerbation of epilepsy/seizure risk that can occur post-traumatic brain injury. That was a draft day concern on him.

My Favorite Team destroyed my Favorite Player.
All time low as a Bears fan. All time low as a sports fan.
Just know imma be a fan of Justin Fields forever.
But I am definitely never going as hard for this team again, until they prove it some day in the distant future. pic.twitter.com/fxsPFKiasz

Bears really don’t care about Justin fields…putting him back in with a concussion down by 30+ points. Wow

The fact that Justin Fields came back into this game after what looked like a concussion is absurd

DJ Moore doing the right thing, pulling Justin Fields back as he headed to the huddle. Have to assume concussion. Bad day for Bears could be getting worse.
