Earlier this week, the Atlanta Falcons met with former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick about their head coaching vacancy. And from the sound of it, that initial interview went so well they’re bringing him in for a second interview with more people.
According to NFL insider Jonathan Jones of CBS, the Atlanta Falcons are bringing in Bill Belichick for a second interview
“The Falcons and Bill Belichick are preparing for a second interview this week, source confirms. Belichick and Arthur Blank met for hours a few days ago, and a second meeting is scheduled for the weekend,” Jones said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

“The first meeting was 1-on-1 between Belichick and Blank. This one will involve a Falcons executive group, I’m told,” Jones said in a follow-up post.
Obviously, this is a pretty significant update regarding the Falcons coaching search and it seems to indicate that Belichick could be considered the top candidate for the team. As a result, it led to a lot of reactions on social media.
They not going to disrespect Bill by bringing him out there twice and dragging this out. https://t.co/AB8cGZ2nhI

We’ll have to see whether or not the Falcons decide to move forward with the six-time Super Bowl winner.
