Bill Belichick Eric Canha-USA TODAY Sports

It does not look like legendary NFL head coach Bill Belichick will be getting an opportunity in the NFL this season, but it does sound like he will get a chance to show what he can do as an analyst on television.

According to a report from NFL insider Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports, Bill Belichick is expected to take a job in television for the 2024 NFL season.

“Several sources believe a stint in television could be in Belichick’s future. He’s done television both locally in New England and nationally, and he’s regarded as one of the foremost football historians today,” Jones wrote for CBS Sports on Saturday.

It’s not clear which network Belichick would work for, but one industry source made it clear to Jones that Belichick would have no shortage of suitors.

“Every network would want him,” one media agent told Jones. “He would revolutionize media with the way he prepares.”

Obviously, this is major news about Belichick’s future, and the NFL world had a lot to say about it on social media as a result.

We’ll have to see which network Belichick ultimately decides to work with and how he performs on the job next season.
