When the Buffalo Bills take the field for their Week 5 matchup, one of their best players might be making his 2023 debut. According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, pass-rusher Von Miller is expected to make the trip to London, where the Bills will face the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

In traveling overseas, Miller will have the chance to make his 2023 debut for Buffalo after missing the team’s first four games with a torn ACL he suffered last season.

Earlier this week, the Bills activated the three-time first-team All-Pro selection from the PUP list, which gave them 21 days to elevate him to their 53-man roster. Per Rapoport, Miller’s first two practices this week gave him no trouble, indicating that his 2023 debut could come on Sunday.

After winning the second Super Bowl title of his career as a member of the Los Angeles Rams in 2021, the Texas A&M product signed a six-year, $120 million deal with Buffalo ahead of the 2022 campaign. In his first season with the Bills, he tallied eight sacks in 11 games before suffering the season-ending injury during a win over the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day.

In returning to the Buffalo lineup, Von Miller will provide an additional boost to a Bills defense that ranks second in scoring (13.8 points), allowing the sixth-fewest yards per game (288.0) this season. Buffalo is also tied with the Los Angeles Chargers and Seattle Seahawks for the most sacks (16) this season.

After losing their season-opening matchup against the New York Jets, the Bills have reeled off wins over the Las Vegas Raiders, Washington Commanders, and Miami Marlins heading into Sunday’s matchup against the 2-2 Jaguars.
