Controversial podcaster Joe Rogan recently blasted Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Brittany isn’t exactly what you’d call a popular figure in the NFL world. And Rogan decided he’d pile on during an episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience” last week.

Rogan mocked Mahomes’ wife for her celebratory antics that have unnerved NFL fans, even those of the Kansas City Chiefs, in the past. Rogan said that Brittany should expect that same energy if the pair ever got divorced. Said Rogan, “Oh yeah, she’s a lot. The problem is, they keep that same energy when you get divorced. They come after you. They come after you with that same energy.”

Not one for backing down, Brittany elected to clap back at Rogan on Twitter Sunday night.

“Something about grown men talking **** about someone’s wife is real weird,” said one tweet.

“Actually grown *** men hating on women in general is pathetic,” another tweet read.

While Rogan can be a polarizing figure, his comments aren’t surprising when considering that Brittany has previously said that she’d dealt with a lot of hate from fans across the NFL. The issue here is that Brittany has never been mocked by someone that has the platform that Rogan does.

Still, Brittany has had to find ways to deal with negative comments in the past. And this is no different.

“I had to change my phone number because people were texting me and harassing me and saying all these mean and hateful things,” she said. “It’s hard because I have feelings just like they do.”

“When they say things like I’m ugly and Patrick could have someone better than me, they have no idea what they’re saying,” she continued.

While Rogan’s comments don’t hold much weight to a non-football fan, it’s clear that Brittany Mahomes isn’t going to back down from any negative remarks that are directed at her or her husband.
