Bryce Young and “size” are going to be two things you hear a lot going into the NFL Draft. Young’s stature makes him a fascinating potential draft pick, as quarterbacks typically don’t run as small as Young is. He’s 5’10, 194 lbs., which isn’t exactly the mold. That’s not to say he won’t be successful, because he could well be. But you’ll hear it a lot, and NFL Twitter got a chuckle out of this thanks to ESPN personality Mina Kimes.

Kimes, a fan-favorite reporter on the Worldwide Leader, tweeted in response to a photo of herself and Young.

The tweet, from user @KryzivenTake2, wrote, “Nothing Mina says now will fix the irreparable damage done to his draft stock by this image.” The picture depicted Young and Kimes, standing beside each other, with Young amazingly standing taller than Kimes.

To which Mina exclaimed in her quote reply, “I WAS WEARING FOUR INCH HEELS!”

Really, it’s a very humorous thing to poke fun at considering the deal here. Young’s size will likely see him get knocked around by reporters, draft analysts, and gurus over the next few months. But on Wednesday, it was a device to get people to laugh.

Laugh people did as the NFL world reacted with hilarity to the picture.

In the end, Mina Kimes had one person to blame for this. Bryce Young, it was not.
