Superstar wide receiver Stefon Diggs has spent the past four seasons with the Buffalo Bills, but after a tumultuous time with the team, he will now be playing elsewhere next season: the Houston Texans.

According to a report from NFL insider Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Buffalo Bills have decided to trade Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans in return for draft capital.

“Blockbuster: Bills are finalizing a trade to send four-time Pro-Bowl WR Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans for draft-pick compensation, sources tell ESPN,” Schefter said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

There has been quite a lot of drama over the past several several seasons regarding Diggs and whether or not he was committed to remaining with the team. That drama picked up again this week when Diggs seemed to call out Bills quarterback Josh Allen on social media, suggesting that Allen would not be as successful without him as a wide receiver.

Diggs has been one of the most dominant and consistent receivers in the entire league over the past few years, racking up six consecutive 1,000-yard seasons. We’ll have to see if he can keep that dominance going this season with the Texans.
