If you have former Carolina Panthers quarterback and NFL MVP Cam Newton being attacked at a 7-on-7 event on your bingo card, then you need to give all of us lottery picks.
A video has gone viral on social media of the former NFL quarterback being jumped at an event. What’s even more surprising is the former star quarterback being able to hold his own against his attackers.
No word as to what exactly happened at the event but according to TMZ, from one angle the brawl shows a couple of the guys shoving Newton around before the group goes flying off into an area covered by trees — but, outside of that, no one knows what exactly happened or how it got started.
Newton recently announced that he plans to concentrate on his new podcast in which he has had current and former NFL players on his show.
The reaction on social media was of shock and awe not only because of how the incident took place but how Newton impressively took on the men who attacked him.

While most joked about the incident, it could have been worse for Newton who has yet to address the incident. According to TMZ, the Atlanta Police Department is investigating the incident.
