After a pretty poor start to the season while quarterback Joe Burrow recovered from a calf injury, the Cincinnati Bengals seem to be back on track on the offensive side of the ball. But one star player still seems to think they can still do better.

During a recent interview, Cincinnati Bengals star receiver Tyler Boyd made it clear that while he is happy with the way the offense has performed in recent weeks, it’s still very clear that there is room for improvement.

“I feel pretty good about [this year], but it could be way better,” Boyd said according to Cincinnati.com. “If you’ve seen this offense go, it’s not where we would like. Everybody can agree with that. I’m not satisfied for sure. We got to keep pushing.”

The Bengals offense got off to a hot start against the Seattle Seahawks in their most recent game, but sputtered in the second half. And Boyd thinks they simply need to be better at getting into a rhythm.

“The way the second half was going, nothing was clicking,” Boyd said. “No one was getting anything going. There was no rhythm. I can’t complain about receptions or throws because we couldn’t stay on the field long enough to get the ball rolling.”

We’ll have to see how that Bengals offense performs this week against the San Francisco 49ers.
