The Las Vegas Raiders may have won back-to-back games the past two weeks, but it doesn’t sound like that’s good enough for star wide receiver Davante Adams.

During a press conference this week, Davante Adams said that even though the team won its past two games against the Green Bay Packers and the New England Patriots, he wasn’t happy with only getting nine targets and six catches across those two games.

Adams made it clear that he is seeking individual greatness, not just wins and losses.

“I’m sure people are thinking, ‘They won the game, so why is there an issue?’” Adams said Wednesday according to Mark Anderson of the Associated Press. “When you’re a player like me, mentally my benchmark is not wins and losses, it’s greatness. So when I go out there, I expect to have that ability to put that on the table and have an influence on the game. That’s my purpose for being here.

“I came here to win and to do it the right way, so if it doesn’t look like it’s supposed to look, then I’m going to be frustrated if I’m not part of that plan.”

So even if the Raiders continue winning, it’s pretty clear that he won’t be happy if he’s not geting targets.
