After he was unceremoniously released from the Arizona Cardinals earlier this offseason, veteran wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins has finally found his new team, joining the Tennessee Titans. And before he’s even played a game or practiced with his new squad, he’s already sending a message to some of his critics.

On Sunday night, DeAndre Hopkins broke his silence on Twitter, formally announcing his intentions to sign with the Tennessee Titans and sending a clear message to his “haters and doubters” in the process.

“I always loved having haters and doubters but I appreciate it even more now. Titan up!!” Hopkins said in a tweet on Sunday night.

Even though Hopkins was regarded as the clear-cut top free agent wide receiver in the free agent market the past few months and has been one of the most dominant receivers in the NFL at times during his career, there are at least some concerns about his productivity and durability later in his career as he hasn’t played more than 10 games in a season since 2020.

Hopkins will have a chance to answer those questions in a big way this season though as he’ll look to prove that he is still one of the top receivers in the league.
