Following the San Francisco 49ers’ 42-10 victory over the Dallas Cowboys, tight end George Kittle displayed an undershirt that read “**** Dallas” to the San Francisco fans.

As one might imagine, Cowboys star linebacker Micah Parsons didn’t take kindly to Kittle’s message.

“George Kittle had three touchdowns on us,” Parsons said on his podcast The Edge with Micah Parsons on Bleacher Report. “And he posted this thing to IG. He said **** Dallas. I just feel like he’s making it way more personal than it had to be. Kittle’s my guy. But I’m gonna say this: Laugh now, cry later. We got something for that, just trust. If we see them again, just trust. I ain’t gonna put too much on it. You gonna make it personal? We can make it personal.”

But as far as 49ers star wide receiver Deebo Samuel is concerned, the rivalry between San Francisco and Dallas is already at that level.

“It was already personal before the game,” Samuel told Kay Adams on FanDuel’s Up & Adams. “42 to 10. I don’t think you wanna see us again. It might be a little bit worse.”

For what it’s worth, the only way the 49ers and Cowboys would play again this season is if the game happened in the playoffs — as has happened in each of the past two postseasons. Following the 2021 season, San Francisco beat Dallas in the Wild Card round, with the 49ers then topping the Cowboys a year later in the Divisional Round.

Suffice it to say, it wouldn’t be a stretch to say that San Francisco has Dallas’ number. Perhaps that’s why Kittle felt confident enough to wear his undershirt and why Samuel didn’t hesitate to respond to Parsons’ personal reply.
