It’s recently been widely reported that the New Orleans Saints and the New York Jets have been in pursuit of former Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr. But it seems like those two teams aren’t the only ones that would be interested in signing the veteran quarterback.

This week, NFL reporter and insider Jeremy Fowler of ESPN revealed on Thursday that “three other teams” have shown interest in potentially signing Carr ever since the Raiders released him – though Carr did not officially reveal who those teams were.

“I was told from various sources around the league that three other teams have called and connected with Carr,” Fowler said on NFL Live“We know the Saints and Jets he visited with, but there are some others in the mix.”

While Fowler may not have revealed any of the three teams he’s heard about, one of those teams could be the Carolina Panthers, who will be looking for some stability at the quarterback position after starting three different quarterbacks throughout last season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers could be another one after the departure of all-time great Tom Brady.

But one thing is for sure: Carr will not have a shortage of suitors this offseason.
