Over the past several years, Derrick Henry has emerged as one of the most consistent and most dominant running backs in the entire league. Up to this point, he’s played his entire career with the Tennessee Titans. But as the Titans allowed him to enter free agency and did not attempt to bring him back, Derrick Henry has now chosen a new team.
According to a report from NFL insider Adam Schefter of ESPN, Derrick Henry will be signing with the Baltimore Ravens for the 2024-25 NFL season, joining the team on a two-year contract.
“Free-agent Derrick Henry is signing a two-year, $16 million deal worth up to $20 million, including $9 million fully guaranteed in the first year with the Baltimore Ravens, sources tell ESPN.,” Schefter said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

Henry will now be joining reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson in the Ravens backfield, giving the team what looks to be the most dynamic and electric rushing attack in the entire league.
It will certainly be interesting to see how he and Jackson will work together in the backfield next season, but fans will understandably be expecting the Ravens to rush for a lot of yards in 2024.
