It’s safe to say that it has been a disappointing close to the season for the Philadelphia Eagles as they appear limping toward the playoffs. It’s been so disappointing that head coach Nick Sirianni is now being questioned about his job security.

After beginning the season with a 10-1 record, the Eagles have now lost four of their last five games taking them out of contention for the top seed in the NFC. But despite the struggles, Sirianni isn’t really thinking about his job status right now.

“No, I don’t think about those things,” Sirianni said according to Pro Football Talk. “I try to stay where we are right now. How we play good football this week against the Giants, how do we fix some of the things that we got going on right now. That’s where my focus is and that’s where I’ll be obviously the rest of this week.”

The good news for the Eagles is that they will indeed be in the playoffs, but they’ll need to start playing a lot better if they want to make another trip to the Super Bowl this season and attempt to avenge the loss in the Super Bowl matchups with the Chiefs last season. We’ll have to see if they can right the ship.
