It sounds like the Philadelphia Eagles are bringing the band back together. Later this week, the team called a press conference that head coach Nick Sirianni and general manager Howie Roseman will host.

Thus, some have speculated that the Eagles will retain the head coach, Sirianni, for the 2024 NFL season.

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported the Eagles’ planned press conference news.

“Howie Roseman and Nick Sirianni are holding an end-of-season press conference together on Wednesday. All signs continue to point to Sirianni returning for the 2024 season,” Schefter said. “While changes to the staff are expected, there isn’t expected to be one at the top. Sirianni has averaged 12 wins per year in Philadelphia, and he helped lead the Eagles to last season’s Super Bowl.

The Eagles appeared to be one of the teams to beat for much of this past NFL season. But after going into December with one loss, the San Francisco 49ers dismantled the Eagles in Philly. And then, that was all she wrote. Philadelphia collapsed to end the season. They spiraled out and then lost after a dismal showing in the Wild Card round. The Eagles lost to NFC South Division champion Tampa Bay to end a disappointing season.

But, even after that disappointing end, the Eagles won’t be making changes. Depending on who you ask, that’s an interesting decision. The NFL world wasn’t short on reacting to the story.
