The Philadelphia Eagles had one of the strangest seasons in recent NFL memory.

After starting the season 10-1 and looking like the favorite to capture a second straight NFC Championship, the Eagles went into a free fall and finished the regular season 11-6.

They immediately bowed out of the playoffs after taking a 32-9 drubbing at the hands of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card Round.

Despite the struggles, wide receiver A.J. Brown had a season to remember. Brown had a career-high 106 receptions and finished with 1,456 receiving yards, just 40 yards shy of his career-high set in 2022, his first season in Philadelphia.

Even with Brown’s strong play, the receiver’s refusal to talk to the media after multiple games led to speculation that he was unhappy in Philadelphia.

Brown sought to clear up the rumors heading into the offseason, telling WIP that he wants to remain an Eagle for the future.

“I have no problem. I want to be here, it’s as simple as that,” Brown said on Friday when he called into the station. He doubled down on his comments later in the interview, saying, “”I just want to let Philly know I love ’em, and everybody who’s making those rumors, hey man, you need to find another job.”

The Eagles have given no indication that they plan to move Brown this offseason.
