Almost 13 months to the day Ezekiel Elliott said there was “no chance” he’d return to Ohio State for his senior season, the running back tweeted he’d “do anything” to be back with the Buckeyes for bowl season.

After a few high profile players, including Stanford star Christian McCaffry, decided to skip their bowl games, Elliott must have been feeling the nostalgia. Even though he made the choice the end his college days early.

Anything? As in give up your $24.9 million contract, Rookie of the Year, a likely division title, a possible MVP award and chance to make the Super Bowl?

Okay, so probably not anything. But everyone knows if you use the thinking emoji, you must have given your tweet lots of deep thought.

With the way Elliott has torn up just about every NFL defense he’s faced, it would be quite entertaining to watch him annihilate opponents in the College Football Playoff.
