There have already been several players hit with suspensions this offseason for violations to the NFL’s gambling policy, and it looks like a few more suspensions are on the way for a few more players.

According to a report from NFL insider Adam Schefter of ESPN, a few more season-long suspensions are expected to be handed out in the coming days, including one to Indianapolis Colts cornerback Isaiah Rodgers.

“A handful of NFL players, including Colts’ cornerback and kick returner Isaiah Rodgers, are expected to receive season-long suspensions this week for allegedly gambling, sources tell ESPN,” Schefter said in a tweet.

Rodgers was hit with quite a strong allegation earlier this month when it was reported that approximately 100 bets were placed on the sportsbook account made by one of his associates over an undisclosed amount of time. Even more concerning, some of those bets included wagers on Indianapolis Colts games.

Though based on Schefter’s report, Rodgers is not the only player facing a year-old suspension, and the NFL world had plenty to say about the news.

It will certainly be interesting to see which players are ultimately hit with suspensions this week as a result of the league’s findings.
