The New York Jets did not have the best season on the offensive side of the ball this year, ranking near the bottom in every offensive statistic available. And it’s pretty clear that star wide receiver Garrett Wilson is not happy with the results.

Even though Garrett Wilson did perform well individually, racking up more than 1,000 yards receiving, he made it very clear that he was not happy with the way the Jets played as a team on offense this season, calling it “the worst year of my life” and making it clear that “football hasn’t been this hard” at any point in his career previously.

“What happened this season can’t happen again,” Wilson said according to Brian Costello of the New York Post. “It’s got to be better. We’ve got to make adjustments in the game. We’ve got to do things to counter what we’re getting and be able to put points on the board, because in the two years I’ve been here, honestly, it’s been tough. It’s been tough going.”

Obviously, the Jets will want to improve next season. Thankfully for them, future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers will be joining the lineup. We’ll just have to see how much of a difference his presence really makes.
