Fire alarms are the hot topic on Sunday ahead of the matchup between the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Steelers received an early wake-up call on Sunday morning as a fire alarm was pulled inside the team’s hotel. Several hours later, Gillette Stadium was evacuated by the Foxborough Fire Department as fire alarms sounded.

This marks the second time in two weeks that the stadium has been evacuated due to fire alarms. Last weekend there was a small kitchen fire which caused the alarms to go off and forced those inside to evacuate.

As of the posting of this article, there have been no confirmed reports detailing what caused the alarms to go off.
Let’s hope this is the last fire alarm incident and that the rest of the day’s football action can proceed uninterrupted.
