On Sunday afternoon, the Green Bay Packers faced off against the New Orleans Saints missing several key starters due to injuries. They were still able to pull out a win in the game, thanks in part to an injury to Saints quarterback Derek Carr, but now the Packers are getting some of those key players back.

At the team’s interview sessions on Wednesday, it was announced that both wide receiver Christian Watson and running back Aaron Jones are expected to be available for the team’s game against the Detroit Lions on Thursday night.

“Via multiple reporters, receiver Christian Watson said, ‘That’s the plan’ when asked if he was playing in Week 4. Watson has missed the first three games of the season with a hamstring injury,” Myles Simmons of Pro Football Talk wrote on Wednesday evening. “Receiver Romeo Doubs also told reporters that running back Aaron Jones will also return from his hamstring injury this week.”

Those are two major announcements for the Green Bay Packers, and people had plenty to say about them on social media as a result.

We’ll have to see how Watson and Jones impact the Green Bay Packers offense when they return to the field on Thursday night.
