After suffering a shoulder sprain during Sunday afternoon’s win over the Chicago Bears, Jalen Hurts is not expected to play in this week’s game against the Dallas Cowboys, even though the shoulder injury is not considered to be serious or long-term. But apparently, Hurts seems to think there’s still a chance he still plays.
When asked if there was still a chance he played in this week’s game against the Cowboys even despite the injury, Jalen Hurts certainly didn’t rule it out.
“Definitely a chance,” Hurts said when asked about his status this week, according to Eagles Today.
“Just taking it day-by-day, though. Everybody knows that I’m dealing with something. I think that’s pretty public. It’s out there. I’m not one to really talk about myself,” Hurts said. “Obviously being a quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles you can’t run from that. But I’m taking everything one day at a time with it and preparing for a really good defense.”
Hurts may not want to be the center of attention this week, but that’s going to be pretty unavoidable ahead of a high-profile matchup between division rivals this week. It’s safe to say that everyone will be eagerly awaiting his status leading up to Sunday’s game.
