Preseason camp is a time of excitement around the NFL world as teams and players prepare for the upcoming season, but unfortunately, preseason camp is also a time of concerning injuries. And it sounds like the Miami Dolphins were struck with a scary injury to a star player this week.
On Thursday, Miami Dolphins star cornerback Jalen Ramsey appeared to suffer a knee injury during practice and was carted off the field into the locker room for further evaluation, according to Miami Dolphins reporter Cameron Wolfe.
“Dolphins CB Jalen Ramsey was carted back into the locker down room after a practice injury. Trainers were attending to his left knee.
He grabbed his left knee after defending Tyreek Hill on a pass play. Trainers evaluated him for a bit on the sideline then he hobbled on cart,” Wolfe said in a tweet.

Obviously, this is very concerning news for the Dolphins as Ramsey is widely considered one of the top cornerbacks in the entire league. And the NFL world had plenty to say about the scary injury situation on Twitter.
