Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo’s future with the organization may be in question after this season at least according to one ESPN NFL analyst.

Dan Graziano thinks that the Jimmy G experiment may end after this season.

Graziano wrote:

“The Raiders struggle badly in 2023 with a roster that appears to be much worse than the one McDaniels took over just last offseason. Garoppolo misses a chunk of games because of injury. Davante Adams, who went to Vegas to play with his college buddy Carr, decides he wants to be traded.

The Raiders, as the 49ers once did, decide they can’t count on Garoppolo to stay healthy and move on. In this scenario, they have a very high pick in the draft — maybe high enough to get Williams or Maye.”

It sounds like a disaster in the making according to Graziano. The Raiders are depending heavily on Garoppolo to carry this team to the playoffs, but there are clearly several major concerns starting with Jimmy G’s health not to mention, the status of running back Josh Jacobs who played a major part of the offense last season.

And from reports from Raiders training camp about Jimmy G’s struggles, Grazino’s prediction may not be that far off.
