Joe Burrow Syndication: The Enquirer

Cincinnati Bengals superstar quarterback Joe Burrow suffered a season-ending wrist injury earlier this year, but it sounds like he expects to be back on the field by the time the team begins organized team activities in the spring.

During a press conference this week, Joe Burrow revealed that his wrist injury is getting better every day, and while he doesn’t have a specific timeline for his recovery, he thinks that he should be “good” by the time the team starts OTAs.

“We’ll have to see,” Burrow said according to Pro Football Talk. “I think I should be good by OTAs. But, we’ll see. Pretty early on to really tell yet.”

Burrow obviously cannot throw a ball as he recovers from his wrist injury, but he’s doing other things to try to make sure he stays in great physical shape.

“Lifting, legs, doing a lot of core, doing the upper body where we can — tough without being able to grab or do anything like that,” Burrow said. “But we’re modifying in ways that keeps me in good physical shape and just going to keep getting better as the wrist gets better, too.”

Bengals fans are undoubtedly eager to see Burrow return to the field.
