As the Baltimore Ravens prepare for the upcoming NFL season, one notable player has been missing from the practice field as star running back J.K. Dobbins has not taken part in practice despite reporting to training camp. And head coach John Harbaugh admits that at some point, this could be a concerning situation.

J.K. Dobbins does not appear to be injured, but he has declined to participate in Ravens practices as he is seemingly conducting a “hold-in” where he reported to minicamp to avoid a fine, but isn’t actually participating in practice.

And head coach John Harbaugh doesn’t seem to know when he’ll be back.

“I don’t know. It’s a fair question,” Harbaugh said when asked when Dobbins’ absence becomes a concern according to Sarah Ellison of Ravens Vault. “And there is a point in time when it does become a concern because – and he knows – J.K. and I talked last night. We talk a lot. He wants to be out there, and he needs to be out there, just like any player does. Other than that, there’s nothing else that I can really add because I don’t know when he’s going to come back, but I know I’m going to be really happy when he does.”

It’s certainly a concerning situation for the Ravens that they’ll likely want to monitor going forward.
