This offseason, the Baltimore Ravens finally inked star quarterback Lamar Jackson to a long-term deal, and it sounds like they’re already happy with what they’re seeing from him throwing the ball during preseason camp.

During his press conference on Thursday, Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh was asked how Lamar Jackson looked during practice in terms of his velocity and accuracy, and it sounds like Jackson has impressed Harbaugh.

“He’s looked very good at that, and it’s a good question,” Harbaugh said in his press conference according to Pro Football Talk. “We do measure all that. We have metrics on that. There’s chips in the ball, and we look at the numbers on that, and the numbers bear that out, too.

“Whatever you’re seeing in terms of your eye — with the way he’s throwing — has been held true with the numbers. He’s throwing the ball really well.”

The Baltimore Ravens are looking to add a stronger passing attack to their offense this season under new new offensive coordinator Todd Monken, and from the sound of it, it’s already going well during practice.

We’ll have to see whether or not Jackson can keep this up throughout the season.
