While the Cincinnati Bengals escaped Wild Card Weekend with a 24-17 win over the Baltimore Ravens, Sunday’s victory didn’t come without another blow to the offensive line.

“Bengals standout LT Jonah Williams suffered what is believed to be a dislocated kneecap during last night’s win over the Ravens, source said,” tweeted NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport on Monday afternoon. “He had an MRI today to determine the damage that it caused.”

This is the second time that the Bengals starting left tackle, who was ruled out with a left knee injury during Sunday’s game, has suffered a dislocated kneecap. During the regular season, Williams dislocated his kneecap in a game against the Ravens back in Week 5 but was able to play through the injury.

Appearing on NFL Network Monday afternoon, Rapoport said that while Williams has yet to be ruled out for Cincniati’s divisional-round matchup against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, Jan. 22, it seems “far-fetched” that the University of Alabama product will be able to play this week.

Bengals head coach Zac Taylor later confirmed Rapoport’s report during a news conference Monday afternoon, per Mohammad Ahmad of Cleveland.com.

“Taylor confirmed that Jonah Williams has a dislocated knee cap and that he will be week-to-week. Did not declare his status for Sunday,” Ahmad said in a tweet.

The indication is that Williams could eventually return to the starting lineup if the Bengals continue to advance. He was replaced during Sunday night’s game by Jackson Carman, a former second-round pick out of Clemson.
