When the Cincinnati Bengals added former Kansas City Chiefs left tackle Orlando Brown Jr., it was initially expected that former left tackle Jonah Jackson would move to the right tackle position for the upcoming NFL season. But apparently, that won’t be the case as he has now requested a trade from the team. And it sounds like that trade could happen very soon.
During an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show on Friday afternoon, league insider Ian Rapoport of The NFL Network revealed that he could see a trade happening “very soon.”
“I would imagine for the right price Cincy is willing,” Rapoport said of a potential trade. “The trade request came in last night. It could happen soon.”
“Cincy’s generally pretty reasonable,” Rapoport said. “It could happen today.”

Rapoport thinks that there will certainly be some interest around the league in trading for Williams.
“The some teams that I think will be interested,” Rapoport said, mentioning the Chicago Bears, the New York Jets, and the New England Patriots. Rapoport said he’s “not so sure about” the Pittsburgh Steelers expressing interest because it’s “a big salary.”
It’s safe to say that this is certainly a situation the NFL world will be watching closely.
