Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor has been in the lineup for the team for the past couple of games since returning from his injury, but he still hasn’t returned to his role as the team’s featured running back. But it sounds like the Cleveland Browns are prepared for that to change this week.

During his press conference this week, Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski made it very clear that he thinks it’s only a matter of time before Jonathan Taylor gets the majority of the carries in the Colts’ offense, and the team is going to be prepared and “ready” to face Taylor if it happens this week when the Browns take on the Colts in Indianapolis.

“You know, we’re ready for that, if that’s what it is,” Stefanski said according to Cleveland.com. “I think they have multiple guys. They can put a bunch of guys in there, have a ton of respect for Jonathan Taylor, and we do anticipate that his workload increases as the games go on here. But they have multiple guys that can hurt you with the ball in their hand.”

When he’s healthy and at his best, Taylor is arguably the top running back in the league. So it makes sense that the Browns would want to prepare to face him as the focal point of the offense.
