After nearly two decades with Aaron Rodgers leading the way for Green Bay Packers, the team is now moving on with first-year starter Jordan Love at the quarterback position. He’s obviously got big shoes to fill, but he’s already earning praise from one veteran cornerback.

This week, the Cincinnati Bengals and the Green Bay Packers are holding joint practices ahead of Friday night’s preseason opener between the two teams. And it sounds like Jordan Love has impressed veteran Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Mike Hilton already.

According to Green Bay Packers beat writer Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, Mike Hilton had some high praise for Love following their joint practice sessions this week, saying “Green Bay got a good one.”

“Real strong arm. Obviously that’s what he’s been known for, but you can tell … he’s seeing things a little slower and his process is a little faster, so I feel like Green Bay got a good one,” Hilton said, according to Schneidman.

Obviously, fans can expect at least some dropoff in production from Rodgers to Love. After all, Rodgers will go down as one of the best and most accomplished quarterbacks of all time. But ti sounds like Love has talent, too.
