The Buffalo Bills suffered a 37-34 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in overtime on Sunday afternoon, marking yet another overtime loss for Bills star quarterback Josh Allen.

Allen has had a series of disappointing performances in overtime throughout his career. In fact, as NFL analyst Braiden Turner points out, he’s actually never won a single game once it gets to overtime.

“Josh Allen has somehow never won a game in overtime in his career. 0-6 lifetime in OT,” Turner said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

This is particularly horrible news for Josh Allen considering that the NFL actually changed its playoff rules in part to benefit Allen after the Chiefs beat the Bills in the playoffs thanks to an overtime touchdown, not even allowing Allen or the Bills offense a chance to touch the ball.

Given this history, the NFL world had a lot to say about Allen’s horrible record in overtime.

With the loss, the Buffalo Bills fell to 6-6 on the season and are now at risk of potentially missing the playoffs if they aren’t able to turn their season around, which is a shocking place for the team to be after beginning the season as Super Bowl contenders.
