The Buffalo Bills suffered a gutting loss during Monday night’s game against the Denver Broncos, and it was due in no small part to some struggles from star quarterback Josh Allen who had two interceptions in the game and completed just 58 percent of his passes for only 177 yards.

And unfortunately for Allen and the Bills, those interceptions weren’t necessarily uncharacteristic from the quarterback. In fact, he throws more interceptions than anyone else in the NFL.

As NFL analyst Nick Wright of FS1 pointed out on social media after the game, Josh Allen has been the league leader in interceptions for over five years now, going back to the 2018 NFL season.

“The league leader in INTs since…

2023: Josh Allen
2022: Josh Allen
2021: Josh Allen
2020: Josh Allen
2019: Josh Allen
2018: Josh Allen,” Wright said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

It’s pretty horrible news about Allen that really puts his play and his struggles into perspective, and the NFL world had a lot to say about it on social media as a result.

Allen obviously has a lot of upside, leading the league in total touchdowns os far this season, but it’s clear that he needs to cut down on the interceptions for the Bills to be successful.
