Over the past several seasons, Buffalo Bills star quarterback Josh Allen has been heavily criticized for the number of interceptions that he throws regularly, and that’s been true so far this year as he has throw the second-most interceptions in the league. But for someone who throws a lot of interceptions, it’s been quite a long time since one of them has been returned for a touchdown.

Even though Josh Allen has been among the league leaders in interceptions over the past few seasons, as Sneaky Joe Sports points out on social media, he actually has the longest active streak where he hasn’t thrown an interception leading to a touchdown.

“Josh Allen has the fourth longest streak in NFL history of pass attempts without throwing a pick six (2672). Allen has the longest active streak in the NFL, almost a thousand more attempts than 2nd place Mitch Trubisky,” Sneaky Joe Sports said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

It’s a pretty insane stat, especially considering how many interceptions Allen throws, and the NFL world had a lot to say about it on social media as a result.

Allen will try to keep this streak up during Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
