The Chicago Bears hold the Carolina Panthers’ first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft which will likely be the No. 1 overall pick. As a result, the Bears could have a chance to select a new quarterback, whether it’s Caleb Williams or Drake Maye. But star wide receiver DJ Moore seems to think they should just stick with Justin Fields.

During a press conference after Sunday’s loss to the Cleveland Browns, Chicago Bears star receiver DJ Moore expressed confusion at the belief that the Bears could be considering drafting another quarterback when Justin Fields is currently leading the team.

“Somebody asked me that last week. I’m still like, where are you all seeing this?” Moore said according to Pro Football Talk. “What makes him not the quarterback for the Chicago Bears right now?”

Moore said that he understands there are two top quarterbacks in the draft – Caleb Williams and Drake Maye – but he doesn’t think either one of them is better than Justin Fields.

“I get y’all got everybody coming out,” Moore added. “What, it’s like two of them? I don’t think they’re better than Justin.”

Fields played well on Sunday. We’ll have to see if he’s played well enough this season to convince the Bears that they should stick with him as their franchise quarterback.
