Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

The Chicago Bears are facing quite a difficult decision at the quarterback position. The team currently holds the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft via the Carolina Panthers that they could use on a quarterback and trade current quarterback Justin Fields, or they could stick with Fields as their starter and continue to build around him. But whatever happens, Fields is at peace with how he played this season.

Justin Fields improved in nearly every measurable passing statistic this season with the Bears and led the to their best record since he took over as the full-time starter. As a result, he’s at peace with what he was able to show this season regardless of whether or not the Bears choose to move on from him this offseason.

“I gave it my all,” Fields said according to Jason Lieser of the Chicago Sun-Times. “Whether here or not, I have no regrets.”

Fields can feel the improvement he’s shown throughout the season.

‘‘I’m headed up,’’ Fields said. ‘‘I felt growth this year each and every game. I’ve been feeling it, really, since I got back from injury. I’ve gotten better tremendously.”

We’ll have to see what the Bears ultimately decide to do.
