Over the past few years, Minnesota Vikings superstar wide receiver Justin Jefferson has emerged as one of the most, if not the single most dominant wide receivers in the NFL. But unfortunately for the Vikings, it sounds like they’ll now be without him for at least four games.

As first reported by league insider Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, Justin Jefferson is going to be placed on injured reserve after he suffered a hamstring injury during the team’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday afternoon, meaning he will miss at least four games.

“The #Vikings plan to place WR Justin Jefferson on injured reserve because of the hamstring injury he suffered in Sunday’s loss to Kansas City, per sources. The exact timeline is TBD based on how he responds to treatment. But Jefferson is out at least four games,” Pelissero said in a post on X, the social media website formerly known as Twitter.

It’s a pretty horrible turn of events for both the Vikings as well as Jefferson, and the NFL world had plenty to say about it on social media as a result.

We’ll have to see how the Vikings are able to perform while Jefferson is sidelined with his injury.
