Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce has been known to be one of the most passionate players in all of football. Unfortunately, that passion may have gone overboard after an altercation at practice with one of his teammates on Saturday.

Chiefs beat writer Nick Roesch posted a video of Kelce catching a touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes in practice on Saturday, and some extracurricular activities ensued shortly after the catch.

Chiefs linebacker Jack Cochrane appeared to give Kelce a shove after making the touchdown catch over him, which led to Kelce throwing a punch at Cochrane.

The two continued to push each other after Kelce’s punch, but luckily both players were separated quickly and things did not escalate from there.

The punch seemed to be pretty unwarranted, and fans certainly had their opinions of the incident on social media.

Compton had his helmet on, so truth be told it probably hurt Kelce’s hand more than it did Compton. Regardless, it isn’t exactly the best look to be punching teammates over a rather insignificant late shove.

This actually isn’t the first time this training camp that Kelce has been seen throwing punches at a teammate. A similar video emerged from Friday’s practice that shows Kelce losing his cool on second-year cornerback Dicaprio Bootle.

We see things like this emerge at training camps across the league all the time, so it may not be a huge concern. However, it seems very clear that Kelce’s temper is pretty short with his Chiefs teammates.
